Wilmington PLC are looking for a Regional Account Manager / Client Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager / Regional Sales ManagerRegional Account ManagerLocation: North West UKSalary: £30k base + OTE £10,000 - £15,000 + Car allowanceTerm: Full Time, PermanentWhy do we want youWe want you because you are an experienced Regional Account Manager / Client Relationship Manager / Business Development Manager / Regional Sales Manager who is passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience through cross and upselling a portfolio of fantastic professional business related products.Mercia (part of Wilmington plc Professional Division) is one of the leading providers of training and support services to the UK accountancy profession, working with over 8000 firms nationwide.Main Purpose of RoleMercia, one of the Wilmington plc companies, is looking for a Regional Account Manger to expand our sales function to meet ambitious growth targets. If you are an enthusiastic, client-centric individual who is able to combine a customer service ethos with a drive to achieve sales results, we would like to hear from you.You will join our team as we consolidate our position as the market leading provider of training, support and promote services to accountancy practices and finance teams in UK.Your role will be to proactively contact your regional client base in response to our marketing activities, provide them with advice and guidance, and protect and grow their relationship and spend with our business. You will be part of a team that is driven to achieve high levels of client retention and new client acquisition, predominantly through cross selling to our existing client base. You will also be responsible for the renewals that sit in your territory and will be allocated a number of clients on this basis.The successful candidates will have experience in face to face B2B solution selling to clients within a regulated industry such as accountancy, legal services or education. We are looking for people who are natural relationship builders, and who can explore and co-create solutions for clients that contribute towards their desired commercial and people outcomes. You will need to be commercially aware and curious and 100% passionate about demonstrating your credibility and achieving a win/win for your client and our business.You will be expected to manage your time and workload to meet activity targets within your regional territory. You will need to be efficient at journey planning once we return to face to face meetings with clients but equally able to engage via digital meeting software such as Zoom and MS Teams. You will be required to keep excellent CRM records of client contact and proposal delivery.The role is home-based with travel across your regional area and regular internal meetings will take place at our offices in Leicester and London. You will have access to ongoing training and CPD across all aspects of professional selling.If you are looking for a role that gives you the opportunity to work with a team of professionals who are passionate about their clients, and to make your mark in the company by achieving value add outcomes for our clients, we would like to hear from you.Skills and Experience Required- Experience in the same or similar role- To be able to prioritise and target activities within your portfolio of clients to maximise the potential of each account through renewal, cross-selling and upselling- To accurately capture and record information in our CRM system and other databases as required for all customer contact- To send out, follow up and convert proposals to clients- To achieve all activity metrics, including daily meeting numbers, conversion rates, pipeline advances and income retained / won.- To make the best use of your time with effective journey/remote meeting planning- To work with team members and managers across the business to provide inputs to the design and support of targeted upselling and cross-selling campaigns.- To live within the territory mentioned above.As a portfolio Company, we are all different at Wilmington.
