Reflection Room Lead - North Manchester - January 2024Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school that is a looking an isolation manager to help with behaviour on a temporary bases, moving to permanent.The role will include managing the Isolation base which is an alternative to exclusions from school and focuses on mentoring and behaviour modification. To be a source of positive support for pupils who are referred to the base. To coordinate appropriatebehaviour strategies and programmes, establishing positive working and act upon referrals from SLT and Progress Leaders. This will be done by using the wide data available to the school and consulting with classroom teachers. To develop positive relationshipswith pupils and their parents, through continuous communication.This is a brilliant chance to get involved in a school that puts the students first with a warm, happy, and safe environment. The staff and students have a sense of pride in their diverse culture and celebrate this with a culture day, which focuses on thedifferent backgrounds that make their community better. The students take on extra responsibility demonstrating their maturity. This includes school council, being a prefect or a librarian. The school also has a strong community spirit with a community fridge,which connects them with the wider area. The leaders of the school constantly raise their expectations of students which has created an improvement across the school.
