Job Description

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is looking for the next step in their careerThis is a great opportunity to join a leading Tier 1 contractor who have a proven track record of delivering quality high-rise developments, student accommodation and high-end offices with projects valued in excess of £100m.They offer exciting career opportunities as well as an attractive salary/package and provide a continual professional development program to help you achieve any further qualifications you will need to progress your career.The Role - Quantity SurveyorAs a Quantity Surveyor you will be reporting directly into the Commercial Director supporting with all commercial duties on several key projects, valued between £50m - £100m.The projects are high rise residential developments and consist of apartments, commercial units and underground parking.Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of bills and/or schedules for quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and refurbishment of building works in relation to both Estimating and Post contract duties.
  • Cost reporting.
  • Preparation and valuation of progress and submission to client.
  • Sub-contract procurement including sending out enquiries, collating prices, negotiation, order placement.
  • Sub-contract valuations and payments in connection with any contract.
Required skills and knowledge:
  • This role is perfect for someone who has real drive, wiliness to learn & progress and can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree/equivalent qualification (HNC/HND).
  • At least 2 years Post Grad experience.
