Job Description

Python EngineerLocation: UK WideSalary: £70,000 - £90,000 base salaryFully remoteSeeking Python professionals in the UK to join a global leader in Digital Transformation on an exciting new project with NHS Digital SUS. This is a data platform that consolidates all clinical data for the NHS. As a Python Developer, you will be improvingand enhancing this platform in all aspects, being in a fully stack hands-on environment while designing and developing software that lies between GUI and back end tools.Experience necessary for being a Python Developer:

  • Writing production grade Python applications
  • Knowledge of a range of languages and paradigms
  • Solid experience with Linux / Ubuntu (this must show on your CV)
  • Experience with high scale applications such as APIs
  • Have worked with tooling for testing, building and deploying pipelines
  • Understanding of logging, monitoring and alerting tooling
Desirable skills for being a Python Developer:
  • Docker
  • Terraform
  • Riak
  • Ansible
  • Jenkins
  • ReactJS
  • Redis
  • Any other coding skills are a bonus, but the primary codebase is written in Python
This role will also require for the successful candidate to get SC Clearance.Minimum of 4/5 years commercial hands-on experience in Python Development is essential.The healthcare marketplace is hugely competitive, and provides a high level of security and massive job satisfaction.
