Job Description

With access to exceptional training and development opportunities, this is theperfect role for an ambitious individual who is looking to further their accounts payable skills.The key duties of this Purchase Ledger Assistant role are as follows:

  • Processing of supplier invoices and payments and sending out weekly payment runs.
  • Reconciling the supplier accounts and coding invoices onto the finance system.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and sending remittances to suppliers.
  • Maintaining company credit card expenditure and supporting credit card holders with queries and submissions.
  • Actively participate in company and team prayer times.
Based just South of Manchester, this exciting organisation boasts a brilliant study support package and opportunities to work from home up to two days per week. This role will suit a strong communicator, including both verbal and written.The successful candidate will have:
  • A finance-related degree or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a Finance function.
  • Strong Excel skills with good IT skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Be approachable, honest and reliable.
