Job Title: Principle Back-End Java / Spring DeveloperLocation: Manchester / RemoteSalary Details: £60k - 75k + Benefits + EquityAs a preferred recruitment partner to this new tech start-up who cyber security to the financial sector, we have been tasked with finding them a principle back-end developer.About the roleThe right individual will be the go-to person for all backend services, critical in helping shape our technology and introducing new ideas and principles to help us grow and succeed. With your frontend counterpart, you will create seamless back and front integration,continuing our simple vision that anything achievable in our UI is available to customers in our APIs.About YouEssential:* Experienced in building and leading a team of backend developers.* Five years experience developing Spring based Java applications.* Demonstrated ability to create resilient and scalable architectures.* Strong understanding of REST principles.* Proficiency with JPA, SQL and distributed caching / messaging.* Demonstrated knowledge of building and shipping containerised Spring applications.* Deep experience with Spring Security, OAUTH2 and OpenID Connect.* Experience with Spring Cloud Framework and developing microservice-based applications.* Good knowledge of OWASP Secure coding practices.* Experienced in E2E testing.Nice-to-have* Good understanding of AWS technologies such as ECR, ECS, EKS, IAM and Cognito.* Developing integrations with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.* Previous experience with Spring GraphQL.* Experience with front-end frameworks such as VUE JS.* Spring Native and GraalVM experience.Deerfoot IT Resources Ltd is one of the UKs leading IT Recruitment Agencies, trusted by many of the UKs leading employers.
