Job Description

Principal Hydrogeologist - London/Manchester/Bristol/LeedsPenguin Recruitment is proud to be representing one of the leading international engineering consultancies in their search for a Principal Hydrogeologist to join their thriving Contaminated Land & Hydrogeology team! My client operates nationwide, so candidatesacross the country are urged to apply. My client boasts an impressive project portfolio ranging across sectors including nuclear new build, major road & rail, oil and gas and regeneration sectors. Joining as a Principal, you will play a critical role in assistingthe Directors with the technical workload across various international and UK based infrastructure projects!Candidates should have proven experience in the field of hydrogeology, including team management. You should have excellent communication skills and be willing to assist junior consultants in training duties. Further requirements include:

  • Educated to degree level in Chemistry/Geology/Hydrogeology/Environmental Science.
  • Significant post-graduate experience working in a similar role.
  • Experience of modelling using MODFLOW/RAM/P20 packages.
  • Able to contribute to tender and bid meetings.
Duties:
  • Provide technical assistance for hydrogeological aspects of multi-discipline projects including modelling, EIAs, PRAs.
  • Mentoring or junior staff.
  • CPD.
  • Project management.
  • Liaising with clients and engineers.
