Job Description

PHP/Laravel/Vue.JS DeveloperSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOELocation: ManchesterJob type: PermanentWe are looking to speak with a PHP/Laravel/Vue.JS Developer who is looking to join a on demand 3D & CGI production company based in the Manchester area. This will include working alongside a growing team of seasoned developers with a wide variety of skill sets. You will have the opportunity to showcase your own skill set and work side by side with experienced developers on new platforms.You’ll be responsible for the inception and integration of some core platform features as well as the maintenance of the existing, clean codebase. Ensuring the teams logic is concise, functional and scalable is also an important aspect of the role, so you shouldn’t be afraid to give and receive constructive criticism. You’ll also be managing your own workload and delivery so you should be aware of and create realistic project timescales.The working hours are Monday – Friday, with the option of flexible working hours. The package also includes unlimited holiday allowance. This position offers a wide array of bonuses such as fully remote working, professional development and access to a great company pension scheme.Key requirements:

  • 2 years industry experience in a development role, with either a related degree or a great portfolio of work.
  • Familiar with a wide variety of technologies, including - PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, TypeScript, MySQL, AWS, Symfony.
  • Familiar with a form of version control system, such as Git or Mercurial(hg).
  • Familiar with package managers, such as Composer and NPM.
  • Some experience of CI/CD processes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload.
  • Clear communication both to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Key duties:
  • Build complex tools and features for a rapidly expanding business.
  • Maintain the application codebase, keeping it clean and scalable.
  • Work closely with the team to create new and exciting tools and features.
  • Research and develop new technologies.
  • Create and/or integrate existing packages within the codebase.
  • Manage your own workload.
