Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 1st/2nd line IT Support Technician to join a customer focused support team providing telephone, remote IT support and onsite support.Essential Skills:

  • Experience in supporting users face to face, over the phone and/or via email.
  • The ability to solve problems and think analytically.
  • Verbally demonstrate how they have resolved a complex issue
  • Excellent understanding of IT and networking.
  • Have clear understanding of tcp/ip (ipaddressing)
  • Understand subnets
  • Understand and can run ping,telnet and tracert
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Good knowledge of Windows server administration, troubleshooting and IP addressing.
  • Strong customer service ethic and having a can do attitude when dealing with user issues.
  • Experience in working with 3rd party suppliers and having the ability to communicate effectively to enable a timely and efficient resolution.
