We have more than 4,000 dedicated colleagues, at 14 locations across the country, all sharing the same obsession for our great food.Job description:Payroll AssociateFull time, permanentBased in ManchesterRole purposeProcessing weekly and monthly payrolls to ensure the accurate and timely payment of Premier Foods colleagues.What youll be doing

  • Perform payroll processing on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Ensure compliance to controls
  • Support the other Payroll Associates and the Payroll Specialist in processing payrolls accurately and on time
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation, and ensure this is shared with the wider team as appropriate
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and act as an escalation route where required
  • Checking & Reconciling 3rd Party Vendor Payments
  • Completion manual Gross to Net Calculations
  • Maintaining Payroll Process Documentation
  • Identifying areas of improvement
  • Any other tasks deemed to be suitable as delegated by the Payroll Specialists
  • What we need from youEssential
  • Experience working with a variety of weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Highly organised, and able to prioritise work appropriately
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – with the wider team, internal and external stakeholders
  • Good Level of Excel knowledge – Pivot & VLook up Tables
  • Desirable
  • CIPP qualified (or working towards)
  • SAP Payroll Knowledge
