Job Description

I am working with a prestigious investments company to source a talented Payroll Administrator for their Manchester office, in order to ensure the smooth-running of their payroll processes. This role will be an invigorating opportunity for a Payroll Administratorwith prior experience to step into a fantastic, international workplace, and further their skillset.In your day-to-day, you will be meticulous in ensuring accurate payments to all employees, whilst working alongside the rest of the Payroll team in achieving team goals. Responding to the Payroll Manager, you will have a keen eye for identifying potentialimprovements within your area, ensuring all necessary reconcilements of monthly costs and necessary payments to governing bodies are undertaken; all the while, you will be determined to improve on your own skills and development to further fuel success withinthe team.Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Submitting salary information to the firms payroll provider, maintaining precise and well-timed reports
  • Participating in improvement initiatives in order to enhance the firms response times
  • Building upon the firms excellent customer service through an excellent approach to employee and customer queries
  • Processing interim third-party reconcilements where necessary
  • Creating ad hoc reports for the Payroll Team as the need arises
The right candidate for this role will have a background in Payroll, and will be adept in utilising Microsoft Excel. They will be able to tackle any challenges head-on without the need for supervision, yet be communicative and always ready to report backto the Payroll Manager and greater Payroll Team as and when necessary.In summary, this opportunity will provide the right person with an excellent, thriving workplace within which they can hone their own skills as a Payroll Administrator.
