Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with the businesss network of Partner firms in the corporate finance and advisory industries
  • Assisting Partner firms in identifying suitable potential borrowers
  • Reviewing lending opportunities and structuring transactions
  • Assisting Partners in the preparation of credit process materials, including reviewing forecast models and business plans
  • Engaging with banks, asset-based lenders and other senior lenders with whom we co-fund
  • Working closely with the Credit Team to ensure an efficient credit process
  • Working closely with the Legal team to ensure an efficient loan closing process
    • Who are weThis business is a fast-growing SME credit specialist operating from offices in the UK and Europe. In particular, we provide access to fully unsecured term loans of £0.5m - £5.0m and terms of 5-8 years. The credit is unique in that it requires no personal guarantees, debentures or any other security. This means we complement rather than compete with secured lenders such as banks and ABL providers. A proprietary technology platform supports our end-to-end credit process, allowing us to efficiently process strategic growth credit for larger SMEs.This allows SMEs to fulfil their growth ambitions, to hire more employees, develop new products or transition ownership to a new generation. We are a highly ambitious, hard-working but small team committed to our SME clients and their advisors.What were looking for:
  • At least four years’ experience in either lending
  • If from a lending background then, term lending/leverage/corporate (rather than ABL)
  • High level of technical expertise with a very good understanding of financial statements and forecasts
  • Relevant qualifications are preferred but not a requirement
