Network Operations Engineer - ShiftsLocation:- ManchesterShifts:- 24/7 ShiftsSalary:- £42k Inc of shift Allowance + 10% Bonus + BensEnvironment:- Network Operations, MPLS, Cisco, Juniper, Ethernet, Voice, VOIP, SIP, Solarwinds, Nagios, ITIL, Fault finding, Troubleshooting, CCNA, JNCIA, Implementation, 3rd Party Suppliers.An experienced Network Operations Engineer is required for this provider of telecoms and managed services.The role is working a shift rotation and is covering 24/7 so experiences of working shifts and being locatable to Manchester is essential for this role.Duties Include:-Monitoring of the Network using a variety of tools - Solarwinds, NagiosFault Finding on outages and fixing or escalatingLiaising with 3rd Party Providers and customer to resolve network outagesGeneral Maintenance and Health checks of the networkConfiguration and planned implementations on the networksWorking within SLAs and keeping everyone informed of progress including StakeholdersExperiences Required:-Network Operations experiences to CCNA levelWorking shifts and maintaining and monitoring of networksTroubleshooting incidents within a Telecoms and Cloud environmentWorking to ITIL practicesExperiences of networking monitoring toolsThis role does carry long term career progression within the company and will be supported on enhancement of technical knowledge of vendors uses.Apply now for full details of this role.
