Network Engineer - F5, Palo Alto, ACI/SDWAN, Proxies, WirelessContract duration: 12 monthsPay: 360 - £432/day via PAYE/UmbrellaLocation: ManchesterMy financial services client requires a Network Engineer to join on an initial 3 months contract. The engineer is required for continued build out of a new Datacenter. The resource will be used for both DC & DMZ work. Type of work will include, planning,building network configuration, documentation, and governance. In addition to assisting with the new build the person will also be assisting with the decommissioning of the current brownfield environment. This will involve planning, 3x phase decommissioning,removing from all asset/monitoring tools. Role will also include network operations and reacting to escalations from L1 Network Production Services Support Team. You will sit inside L2 Ops and will be responsible for Support and will assist with EOL and Compliance. In Depth Experience of Cisco ProductsEssential Requirements:- Nexus / IOS- Spine / Leaf Architecture- NDFC / DCNM Knowledge- Deployment of new devices / migrating of circuits- External Client Connectivity, (New/Support)Good Knowledge of OR SME in a at least one product:- F5 Loadbalancers- Palo Alto- ACI / SDWAN- Proxies- WirelessSoft Skills:- Good Communicators at all levels- Good organisations skills, the ability to run a project and organise multiple teams for result based outcome- People who can perform administration, tracking and high level briefs of their work. The ability to leverage MS office products and use ITSM tools like SNOW- Self-Starter, hardworking, and positive attitude
