Job Description

A leading client of MRJ, one of the UK’s leading healthcare solutions providers, are currently embarking on their biggest transformation programme in the company’s history.It’s a very exciting period of technology and business change for the business, transforming their group wide legacy platforms with the introduction of a state of the art technology estate, enabling the business to work more efficiently and allowing the company to stay ahead of the market in an ever changing landscape.What’s the roleReporting into the Director of IT & Change, we are looking for an ERP expert responsible for owning and controlling our Netsuite software. This is a fantastic opportunity to take real ownership of a crucial role in our growing business and have a tangible impact on its success. If you are passionate about innovative technology, enterprise architecture and business processes, then you are fit for the role.This is a key subject matter expert role, being involved in everything including system design, software configuration, testing, employee training and supporting solutions that are implemented as part of our ERP strategy. Working initially with the finance teams responsibilities will change as business needs evolve.Key tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Own, implement, administer and configure Netsuite OneWorld
  • Work closely with the Finance Team and IT to gain an understanding of the existing finance processes and systems
  • Work with finance team to identify the accounting and management information needs of the business; make recommendations for suitable solutions fit for integration with the operational platform
  • Understand roles and permissions in Netsuite and create/maintain as needed
  • Highlight weaknesses in the system and propose solutions and work-arounds
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to agree on the systems strategy
  • Ensure that the Finance department and other departments are fully trained and encourage the optimisation of the system
  • Document business processes and ERP requirements; ensure process improvement for dashboards, reports and saved searches;
  • Define the need for and implement critical business metrics, reports, dashboards and analytic tools
  • Act as a service point/support desk for the business with regards to Netsuite and related products
  • Experience SummaryApplicants will have a proven and demonstrable track-record in all aspects of the project life-cycle of the implementation and support of Oracle Netsuite applications (financial modules preferred).We are looking for a technical-minded person who is able to understand complex systems with the ability to incorporate multiple perspectives and needs into a cohesive whole. A flexible and adaptable team player, you will offer a combination of strong people skills, technical ability and an eagerness to learn.As our field evolves fast, the job changes frequently and requires a fast-thinking individual that will be responsible for coordinating the needs of each of the company’s departments. You must be able to lead meetings to collect information and then unite these disparate visions into a cohesive whole for the entire company.Essential Skills
  • Hands-on ERP development tools - Oracle NetSuite ERP is essential.
  • Direct experience working on multiple phases of at least one major ERP software implementations.
  • Technical and coding skills: PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Crystal Reports, ABAP, etc.
  • Experience of training in small and classroom environments
  • Understanding of core logistical business processes
  • Understanding of financials to P&L and Balance Sheet environment;
  • Outgoing, organised and proven track record of meeting deadlines is a must;
  • Self-starter, pro-active and uses innovation and creative thinking whilst demonstrating the tenacity to resolve difficult queries and issues.
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to interact well throughout the organisation including senior management team
