The Role: The Municipal Sales Manager will be tasked with developing new relationships with local authorities across the North, there will also be existing accounts to manage but this role really requires someone that leans naturally towardsnew business. Youll work in a strategic and effective way to prospect for business through self-generated leads and deal with incoming enquires - the sales process is typically around 6 - 12 months involving trials and demonstrations so the role does involvestanding up in front of small groups of people to present. The sales process is tender driven, fortunately you will be supported by an external company in writing and delivering tenders which gives you more time to focus on selling.
