Job Description

Calibre Search have an exciting position available for any Senior level MRICS Building Surveyor looking for a new challenge to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial led and award winning commercial real estate practice in Manchester City Centre.You will be part of niche Building Consultancy team offering a full mixture of project to full professional surveying services. This role is heavily focused on delivering for some of the UKs most highly renowned corporate, pension fund and investment firmsmaking this a demanding but a very rewarding role in return (very generous bonus structure).Experience in delivering a mixture of CAT A & B office fit out and refurb projects is a must for this role whilst having previous experience offering dilapidations assessment and negotiations. MRICS qualification would also be necessary given the seniorityof this position and desirable trait of wanting to manage a team would also be welcomed.Fantastic time to join for you to join a team who are a very social bunch, take part in multiple days out as well as having everything you need to progress towards Director/Partner level in this exciting period of the practices history.Duties:

  • Fee proposals
  • Taking client briefs
  • Preparing scheme designs with budget costs plans and project programmes
  • Preparing tenders and contract documentation
  • Undertaking cost analysis and value engineering
  • Managing project costs and reporting regularly to clients
  • Advising clients on their duties under CDM
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Undertaking building surveys and schedule of conditions
  • Dilapidation assessments and negotiations
