Job Description

Salary will be negotiable and will include significant benefits and genuine fast career growth opportunities.You may be a recent talented graduate with a good idea for Motion Design working with After Effects or a seasoned designer with a portfolio to show.Either way you will be guaranteed various exciting projects and an opportunity to develop a fantastic career.Reporting to: Creative DirectorThe client, a growing technology business with lots of opportunity to develop a career and based in central Manchester are seeking a Motion Designer to work on various exciting projects at this time of growth.They are looking for a versatile graphic designer / video content creator who can conceptualise and execute stand-out print, graphic and motion designs. The candidate must be comfortable taking designs from an initial concept to a final visual product andthrive in time-sensitive situations, collaborating with the Creative Director and Senior Leadership team. They should also have an exceptional showreel / portfolio which houses a range of different styles.The desired candidate is an idea generator who is solution oriented and can work well independently, taking ownership of projects and generating their own ideas.DutiesAs Graphic Designer you will be working daily with Adobe Creative Cloud building our creative assets in Print (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma, Video (Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier)In this role, your workload will likely be an evolving mixture of the following tasks:

  • video animation for content marketing and software tutorials
  • designing static social media templates
  • editing raw video footage to create trailers
  • animating logo stings
  • developing brand campaigns with the marketing team
  • designing avatar concepts for Company Gamification products
  • developing branded collateral for new business opportunities
  • designing digital adverts
  • designing print based marketing material for trade shows and events
  • contributing creative ideas to the marketing team
  • Ownership of social media content
  • and other mix of media-related creative projects
We are looking for the Jack-of-all-trades Designer who is prepared to get their hands dirty by putting their own stamp on the brand. The right candidate will be sufficient with AE scripting and a great knowledge of AE plugins. Their experience with the grapheditor tool should be highly skilled and their work should be dynamic and creative.Requirements:
  • Formal graphic design training (University degree or diploma)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,
Premier Pro and After Effects)
  • 3D skills desirable but not essential
  • Proven skills and educational training in typography, layout, composition, colour theory and information design
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, developing creative design solutions within tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communications, listening and decision-making skills
  • Candidate provides a great attitude, energy drive and enthusiasm
  • Overtime may be required on occasion, based on project demands
