Job Description

Marketing Manager - Manchester - GBP 35,000-40,000 DOEI am working with a new and exciting client who is a market-leading global textile business.As a member of their close-knit Marketing team, you must be a creative and committed team player who loves to see a job well done!This role requires you to work from the Manchester-based office 5 times a week, therefore, you will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK.Responsibilities of a Marketing Manager:

  • Manage end-to-end marketing activities, including product launches, events, and exhibitions.
  • Plan and coordinate the companys exhibition attendance by developing show proposals, stand designs, and layouts.
  • Create marketing materials for both online and print platforms.
  • Plan and produce sampling collateral such as sample books, pattern cards, and product binders.
  • Oversee the day-to-day social media activities in line with the marketing plan and product launch calendar.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve optimal results.
  • Develop a strong understanding of all product areas to ensure the timely delivery of brand messages.
  • Perform copywriting and proofreading tasks as required.
  • Execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to reach target audiences.
  • Communicate and brief external agencies, designers, and print agencies as needed.
  • Analyse and interpret data to provide recommendations for future marketing strategies.
  • Support the Head of the Marketing and sales team in driving sales and new business.
Requirements of the role:
  • Possess a degree in Marketing or a related field, or hold a CIM qualification.
  • Demonstrate experience in, or a strong interest in textiles, home furnishings or interiors.
  • Have a proven track record in a marketing role with a focus on creating editorial content.
  • Thrive on taking action and achieving results!
  • Combine creativity with a sharp eye for design and detail.
  • Be naturally self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Work well under pressure, juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Have a knack for generating and analysing marketing data, with the ability to provide recommendations for current and future marketing strategies.
  • Excel both working independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess strong administrative and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Have knowledge and experience with CRM systems and marketing automation.
  • Be prepared to travel for exhibitions, both domestically and internationally.
