We help business involved in training, upskilling & deploying talent in the technology market find great people.We are helping one the fastest growing businesses in the sector and a major disruptor in the Technology Skills market.My clients supplies mainly to the UK mid-to-major enterprise and span multiple industry verticals.Role: Group Marketing DirectorReportto: Chief Revenue OfficerLocation: Home based (UK)Salary: £100k base + 20% BonusPeople Responsibility: 4 x Direct reports - Head of Digital, Head of Partnerships, Content Manager, Community ManagerWe are particularly interested in talking to Marketing Directors from SaaS & high-growth complex Tech. You will be working in a business selling to the UK Enterprise & FTSE 250.Key Responsibilities:Leadership:

  • Lead a small team of top marketing talent, performing daily management tasks, and offering development and coaching support for your direct reports.
  • Recruit top talent into the organisation.
Brand and Content Ownership:
  • Define the Voice’ of the company and amplify our unique Vision, Mission, and Values through our Brand marketing, web content, and key marketing assets.
  • Design and maintain a leading, state-of-the-art digital presence both within our own domains and across third-party review sites and marketplaces, including blogs, podcasts, and opinion pieces.
  • Take ultimate responsibility for our events calendar, both internal and external.
  • Define and develop award categories as well as manage external awards.
Demand Generation:
  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies, including paid media, events (in-person and virtual), content marketing, and new growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure lead quality and quantity support sales targets.
  • Enhance our website to be the #1 salesperson by providing the best possible prospect experience for website visitors.
Product Launch and Promotion:
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies for new product launches.
  • Drive the creation of comprehensive go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with revenue and margin targets.
  • Provide market insights to the product team to guide the development of new offerings.
Market Validation and Research:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to validate product ideas and identify market trends.
  • Build and better define the ideal customer profile for each product segment
  • Leverage customer feedback and industry insights to refine marketing strategies and product positioning.
Field Readiness:
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide training and support for new product launches.
  • Ensure the sales team has the knowledge and resources needed to effectively sell the offerings.
  • Monitor and refine the sales training process as needed.
Marketing Operations:
  • Establish and maintain metrics and reporting systems that measure the performance of marketing initiatives and sales activity.
  • Ensure that sales decisions are data-driven and backed by relevant insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Foster collaboration with product, engineering, delivery, and sales teams to ensure all marketing efforts support revenue growth and profitability.
Candidate Specification:Essential:
  • Proven track record of 5+ years in senior marketing leadership with a technology product.
  • Prior experience in creating, designing, and delivering marketing programs.
  • Sufficient breadth of experience across content/digital, product marketing, demand-gen, and brand.
  • Deep knowledge of marketing automation, account-based marketing, conversational marketing, customer marketing, and enrichment tools.
  • Proficiency in market research and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of successful product launches and lead generation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

  • £100,000 basic salary + 20% performance related bonus
