With expertcolleagues based throughout the European countries in which we operate, we are a truly diverse organisation which serves a global, ever-growing customer base.About the Marketing Assistant position:Join our fantastic marketing team to develop and deliver exceptional localised marketing plans to countries around the world.This position will work with our Campaign Manager within our expert, Manchester-based marketing team to create, organise, co-ordinate and deliver marketing efforts and promotional events for Distrelecs ever-expanding product range and services.As a newly created role, were looking for someone with drive and ambition who can bring ideas, confidence and a naturally collaborative mindset. Were looking for the Marketing Assistant to understand marketing campaign results and support with the projectmanagement of localisation processes and workflows.Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the creation and execution of local marketing plans in close collaboration with Regional Sales Managers
  • Helping organise and coordinate marketing and promotional events including conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows
  • Monitoring marketing campaigns progress and results; gathering data to help improve performance
  • Supporting in the project management of localisation workflows to ensure localised marketing assets are delivered on time
  • Conducting market research to identify the target audiences needs, competition, and trends to help create marketing strategies and plans
  • Delivering graphic, written, or verbal presentations and reports of findings, statistics, and insights
  • Assisting in creating and updating content on multiple digital platforms including our websites, social media accounts, blogs and emails
Essential experience and skills were looking for:
  • Demonstrable professional experience in a similar marketing role
  • A passion for being best-in-class for customer experience in the e-commerce and/or B2B space
  • Excellent team working skills, ability to manage own workload and tenacious attention to detail
  • Active listening to stakeholder issues and strong at identifying opportunities and recommending solutions for challenges
  • Excited about working in a cross functional environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • C1 Effective Operational Proficiency or Advanced English Language Skills
Experience and skills wed love to see:
  • Experience in B2B marketing
  • Knowledge of electronic components and industrial applications
  • Knowledge of e-commerce
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/InDesign
  • Awareness of cultural differences and language appropriateness
  • Additional European language(s) skills are a distinct advantage
