// Management Accountant // Manchester // Start-Up // Renewable Energy // £35-42K //Dont miss out on this incredible opportunity to join a start-up who is revolutionising the energy sector with their P2P renewable energy marketplace.My client is a first mover in the UK and connects renewable generators of any size to corporate and domestic consumers with the aim of delivering higher margins to renewable generators, saving on energy bills to consumers and 100% tracable NetZero to theirclients.Main Responsibilities:Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.Preparing the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings to the Finance Manager.Assisting with preparing statutory accounts.Processing and raising invoices and bills.Set up payment runs adhoc and monthly, as required.Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and re-forecast processes.Providing back office services such as dealing with queries from generators and consumers.VAT management and reporting.Non-commodity charges management including elexon, Ofgem, network operators, meter operators, HMRC and etc.About You:Strong technical accounting knowledge and numerical skillsStrong Excel skillsAbility to follow up payable and receivables via emails and callsExperience of AP and ARFully qualified accountant or near to acquiring ACA, ACCA, CIMA (1-2 papers remaining)Open-thinking, innovative, dedicated, and honest with a strong team ethicSelf motivated and eager to learn// Management Accountant // Manchester // Start-Up // Renewable Energy // £35-42K //By applying to this advert you are giving CPS Group (UK) Ltd authority to hold and process your data for this specific role and any other roles we may deem suitable to you over time.
