Our client, a PE backed, leading Manufacturer are looking for a driven Management Accountant to join their busy Finance team based in Trafford Park. This role will suit someone qualified, looking for a fast paced company and broad exposure across a Financefunction. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the parent accounts and several subsidiary accounts for the Group. The company is expanding across several new markets so there will be progression opportunities. This role is full time officebased.Salary £45,000-£60,000 dependent on experienceResponsibilities: * Preparation of end to end management accounts, including posting of accruals and prepayments, tax, fixed assets, leases, payroll etc* Preparing and maintaining the fixed asset register * Liaising and challenging customers to agree rebates and price supports * Variance analysis of the P&L and margin analysis of sales* Reconciliation of bank accounts* Preparation and filing of VAT returns* Treasury management - authorising high value payments to overseas suppliers* Preparation of year end statutory accounts * Payroll run - calculating staff payroll, issuing payslips and answering payroll queries * Sales reporting* Intercompany reconciliations between parent and subsidiaries across multiple currencies* Reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts; PAYE, VAT, wages, stock etc* Reviewing aged Accounts Payable and Receivable* Credit card reconciliations for multiple departments* Group accounts for several companies outside the GroupRequirements:* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified - QBE may potentially be considered* Strong Excel skills* Strong work ethic & confident communicatorDesirables: * Practice/Audit background* Microsoft Navision experience
