Job Description

Lettings AdministratorUp to £20,000 + bonus and many more employee benefits!Role overviewThe primary focus of this role is to support the General Managers with letting up the developments from handover of the site through to stabilisation. Supporting the General Manager to meet lettings targets and create a community. Furthermore, to supportdelivery of an effective Lettings support operation, and to assist the Lettings Negotiator in completing all administration works that come from letting the property.This role requires strong communication skills and a drive to offer the best customer service at all times.What you will be doing:

  • To handle lettings enquiries, and complete the referencing process.
  • To lead on the input of data on the system for new enquiries, lettings and new tenant data.
  • To lead on arrears collection on a monthly basis when rents are overdue.
  • To assist in conducting viewings during peak times.
  • To assist with the process to handle/issue keys, only to correct personnel/residents whilst recording the signing in and out of keys, in line with the company procedure.
  • To assist with drafting ASTs and tenancy documents.
  • To prepare handover packs & tenants guides.
  • To assist with taking and processing referencing fees, deposits and first term rental payment.

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • A confident self-starter
  • Team player, yet with the ability to work alone and on own initiative
  • Strong administration skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Positive and can do
  • Adaptable
  • Keen interest in learning the property industry
  • Knowledge of relevant Lettings and Estate Agency Acts, or happy to learn/work towards
  • Understanding of key health and safety requirements
