Job Description

Contract role - Lead DevOps - Remote/Leeds/London - Inside IR35 - 6 months initialWe are supporting our government organisation customer to look for Lead DevOps.

  • Role: Lead DevOps
  • Location: Remote (some occasional travel to Leeds/London)
  • Job type: Contract
  • Duration: 6 months initial
  • 2-3 years of experience DevOps delivery execution
  • Proven leader a DevOps practitioner with a DevSecOps developer/very hands on with complete pipeline/delivery train management
  • Comfortable in a a leadership role incl. experience with best-in-class whitewater DevOps pipeline
  • Lead Agile DevOps teams.
  • Lead multiple delivery execution projects with full pipeline oversight from development to production with skillset including: Microservice/serverless and Kubernetes/Container technologies such as Docker Helm TerraformCI/CD technologies with Azure DevOps
  • Experience with one of the major cloud providers Azure Cloud is preferable.
  • Secrets Handling
  • Comfortable with Git version control Cryptography including PKI/ certificate management.
  • Ideally comfortable with hybrid front end development of UX micro-frontend development and presentation layer frameworks Comfortable with all assets/components in a design language with a tool such as IBM Carbon or InVision Sketch
