They have a family feel, are all passionate about hitting the businesses growth targets and advancing their personal careers as the organisation grows.They are looking for a lead data person due to growth that are able to analyse data, crunch the numbers but then transform the data into a commercial setting, reporting to the business what the numbers mean in commercial terms. You will be interrogating the data, analysing it and then reporting what it means to the wider business. You will work across all areas of the business with all key stakeholders for example sales, marketing, operations and your job will be use date to drive revenues.As the Lead Data Analyst- Manchester your responsibilities and duties will include:• Work on more complex and technically demand projects to produce models, segmentations, and insight to drive data led decision making across the division.• Provide support and guidance to other analysts within the team, providing both technical and commercial insight support.• Development and ownership of fully automated data products that support business need and deliver incremental benefit to the business.• Ability to think creatively to identify and deliver new, innovative analytical projects from existing and new data sources.• Ability to design and recommend different types of testing used to measure new and existing business processes.• Instill and test and learn culture into existing business processes on order to improve overall business performance.• Run and analyses the output of tests.Essential Skills and Competencies of the Lead Data Analyst- Manchester:5+ years of Data & insight analysis experience• Design, prototype, deliver and maintain reports in Power BI, using SQL and DAX.• Previous experience of working with complex data sets• Ideally some experience in financial services or similar industry with a wide range of complex data• Ability to find useful structured and unstructured data in a Data Warehouse and Data Lake, then suggesting and designing extensions that will improve data capabilitiesFor more information about Lead Data Analyst- Manchester please get in touch or to apply send your CV now.
