This is a full-time role with an immediate start following the lockdown, then following an initial period working on a temporary basis (typically 16 weeks) this role could become permanent and you may be offered a school contract.The school is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to pupils with Special Educational Needs in KS1 who require 1:1 support. To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of supporting pupils who require special needs developmental support; have excellent patience; be able to engage pupils and differentiate work according to individual needs and a clear understanding of SEND-based learning.To join us and be successful in this SEND Learning Support Assistant role, you will need to:* Have experience or training in working with special needs developmental support* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks* Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained* Have the legal right to work in the UKThis role will include:-Assisting in the development of pupils with special educational needs, usually on a 121 basis-Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care-Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learnAbout the school:The school has grown significantly under great leadership in recent times, and has high-quality, hard-working and passionate staff.
