Job Description

Junior Tax Analyst | Manchester | £20,000 - 24,000 + £6,000 bonus Have you thought about starting a career in the finance space Want to work with the most innovative companies in the UK Ever considered a role as an R&D tax specialistWe’re looking for talented individuals to join an R&D specialist, who wants to offer you the chance to develop your skills and knowledge by helping ambitious SMEs claim tax relief. You will work with a truly diverse range of clients and learn about organisations that are promoting technology advancements with their products.What you will be doing as a tax analyst:

  • Be responsible for analysing the costs for R&D projects
  • Help claims by submitting reports in line with HMRC legislation and guidelines
  • Consult with technical members of external finance teams and stakeholders
  • Learning and developing your R&D tax specialist knowledge with industry experts
  • Ensure high levels of due diligence by amending claims
    • What you will need for the tax analyst role:
  • University degree in a highly numerical subject
  • Experience with tax (doesn’t have to be in R&D)
  • Enthusiasm for learning about new technical concepts
  • Clear and confident communication skills, you will be engaging with lots of stakeholders
  • To be a decisive problem solver and a team player, this is a great collaborative team you will be joining
