Job Description

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an IT Audit Manager within the Financial Services sector based in South Manchester. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the technology department by managing and improving IT audit processes.Client DetailsThe organisation is a leading player within Financial Services, with a sizeable workforce spread across numerous locations. The companys operations are primarily based in London, however this role will be based in South Manchester 2-3 days per week. Ithas a well-established reputation for its robust and reliable technology services.Description

  • Managing and implementing IT audit processes within the company
  • Ensuring adherence to company and industry regulations
  • Collaborating with other department heads to improve overall IT functions
  • Identifying potential IT risks and proposing mitigation strategies
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Reporting on IT audit findings and recommendations to senior management
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the technology department
  • Participating in IT projects to provide audit perspectives
ProfileA successful IT Audit Manager should have:
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of IT auditing processes and principles
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Solid understanding of the insurance industry and its regulations
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • CISA Qualification or similar
