Job Description

IT Administrator Manchester (Flexible home working) £35,000 - £40,000 base + Full corporate benefits packageA market leading global technology business is looking to hire an IT Administrator to support their European operation.Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the business across Europe including United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Germany, Denmark & Netherlands
  • Informing staff of any known software or hardware problems
  • Completing repairs to equipment and infrastructure; investigate faults and diagnose corrective action
  • Maintaining computer networks (including the installation of new software, ensuring anti-virus and other utility software is up to date and effective
  • Undertaking on-boarding and off-boarding process for new starters in accordance with central IS processes for users within the EU region
  • Proactive maintenance and support of core business servers & infrastructures, in accordance with central IS strategic direction
Systems & Technologies:
  • PBX and VOIP systems
  • Video Conferencing and supporting devices that fall within the departments remit
  • Local network access for users within region, including technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Azure & Office 365
  • Familiarity with the following platforms and applications
-Microsoft Windows Desktop 7, 8 & 10-Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2 & 2016-VMWare vSphere 4 & 5-SharePoint Online Management-Office 365 User Management-Cisco Meraki & Ubiquiti networking productsSkills & Attributes:
  • Strong IT background
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced moving business
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
