Job Description

The Team Fieldfisher is famous for IP. Our market-leading specialist team has a proven track-record of success. Our IP team represent a number of household name clients in protecting their IP and regularly work for clients in the UK and EU, North America, the Middle East, China and the Far East and Asia Pacific. Responsibilities

  • Preparing, filing and reporting new trade mark and design applications
  • Attending to patent annuities
  • Attending to formalities requirements
  • Attending to drafting of responses to objections and other responses before the relevant Registry
  • Processing official documents (filing receipts, publication notices and registration certificates)
  • Billing, records database and other administration duties relating to the aforesaid
    • Key Skills & Experience
  • Good academics and experience in trade mark formalities either gained in a law firm or patent/trade mark Agency
  • Patent annuities and formalities experience
  • Able to work without supervision and to be able to demonstrate initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and a good team player
  • Able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the client’s business and be client-facing
