SJC Partners have been mandated by a VC backed investment business to recruit an Investment Manager to take responsibility for the running of portfolio acquisitions.Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):* Overall bid management process (from opportunity to closing) including liaising with external clients and internal stakeholders.* Portfolio due diligence (on-site where required)* Understanding of pricing models and working with the team to deploy these models to price new opportunities* Reviewing and challenging the output of the pricing team with a commercial lens* Managing 2 junior direct reports* Managing the production of investment papers appears to support debt purchasing decisions and presenting these weekly to the Investment Committee.* Leading the commercial review of contracts and managing internal/ external legal resource* Supporting the Post-acquisition, early review, and analysis of actual performance vs. forecast* Building relationships with multiple credit fundsApplicants should possess experience of working in a high velocity deal environment (e.g M&A/Transaction Services/Leverage/Structured Finance) with an ability to run multiple transactions simultaneously. A high level analytical and numerical skills are criticalas you will be expected to handle complex financial information and prepare investment papers (often including complex financial structures). Given the fact this is a deal led environment, it goes without saying you be an individual who will thrive workingto tight deadlines and being under pressure to get a deal completed.This is a hugely exciting time to join the front office investment team with a recent capital injection providing large growth potential at both the individual role and wider function level.
