Job Description

Eventus Legal is seeking an experienced Insolvency Solicitor to join a leading multi-service law firm with offices in Manchester and Liverpool. This is a permanent, full-time position with excellent employee benefits including 25days of holiday plus bank holidays, discretionary bonuses, hybrid and flexible working, cycle-to-work schemes, well-being events, a death in service award, and discounts off retailers scheme to name a few.Role ResponsibilitiesThe incoming Insolvency Solicitor will manage their own caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters including but not limited to:

  • Bankruptcies
  • Company administrations and insolvencies
  • CVAs
  • Director disqualification proceedings
  • Public interest winding-up petitions
  • IVAs
The team mainly deal with commercial insolvency but there may be some personal insolvency work. You will be expected to build strong client relationships and get involved with business development to support the further growth of the department.Person SpecificationThe department is continuing to expand and this is a fantastic opportunity to join them during this period of growth.Applications are sought from committed legal professionals who are keen to develop a career in this area of law. You will be a qualified solicitor ideally with some experience in the discipline, possibly during your training contract, although Solicitorswith experience in Commercial Litigation are also encouraged to apply.Importantly you will have the following demonstratable skills and experience:
