Infrastructure Engineer (Remote Working) – Manchester£40k to £45kMy client, a leading Finance Company is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team based in Manchester and working from home for the foreseeable future.The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of both new and existing infrastructure components and services. These services underpin the firms desire to become a cloud first organisation, enabling us to support a fully mobile workforce distributed across the UK using some of the latest technologies.It is essential the candidate has experience deploying, administering, and securing infrastructure and services within a Microsoft Azure environment.Experience of Microsoft 365 (Office 365) services and migration to the platform would be a distinct advantage.Essential SkillsExperience of Deploying and Managing Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) in a Microsoft Azure or equivalent Public Cloud environment.Experience of Supporting and Troubleshooting On-Premises Active Directory or Azure AD in a Hybrid Configuration.General knowledge of WAN/MPLS optimisation technologies.A well developed, practical understanding of network technologies and protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, layer 3 routing protocols, subnetting, QoS,& VLANs.Flexible, adaptable and excited by new ideas and/or technology, willing to embrace new initiatives and technologies regardless of familiarity.Able to produce clear and concise technical documentation for support colleagues.Demonstratable initiative and excellent lateral-thinking and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated and a team player, keen to develop skills or advance own knowledge and help develop the team’s knowledge.Strong interpersonal and communication skill, with the ability to convey solutions in non-technical language to a broad group of stakeholders.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
