Job Description

Location : Manchester or LeedsSummary (overview of role):Our client is looking for a HR Systems Implementation Manager to join them - the role can be based in either Manchester or Leeds. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.Job Description (the successful person will be responsible for):Working as part of a small team, the postholder will lead, facilitate and support the system build for the HR management information system (HRMIS) and related managed payroll service.The post holder will project manage the system configuration, implementation and build, until the system is handed to business as usual. As well as technical expertise, the post holder will be a key member of the programme group, working closely and developingstrong relationships with internal colleagues in Finance, PMO, Legal, IT, DPO and external system and managed payroll provider(s).The role will also ensure that personal and sensitive data is handled correctly, cleansed, stored and transferred securely and in line with GDPR and RSHs policies.Experience working with Iris Cascade HR and Payroll would be desirable.Responsibilities (In order to complete the responsibilities of this role, the successful candidate will have):The successful candidate will be qualified to project management practitioner level or with equivalent experience, including technical project management skills and experience. Previous experience of HRMIS implementations and payroll transfers with a broadunderstanding of system design, processes and practices is essential. In addition, the postholder will require excellent word and excel skills, and knowledge of the legal requirements relating to data management in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 andGDPR standards and best practice. They will be able to present technical information in an accessible way that is understandable to non-experts.General Information:LocationThis post can be successfully carried out from either their Leeds or Manchester office. They offer flexible working arrangements and staff can work from home for part of their hours.Most roles involve some travel within England between their offices, and some roles also involve onsite visits to social housing providers.In line with Government requirements to reduce the number of Civil Service and NDPB roles based in London, they only advertise roles in London which need to be there for business-critical reasons.InterviewsInterview dates are W/C 29th August and will be held via Microsoft Teams in line with their current hybrid working model.Benefits and SalaryThey offer a range of excellent benefits; information is available on their website.The salary for this role is a spot salary within the given range, which will normally be the minimum of the range. Annual salary reviews are determined by the government pay award. In addition, when the probation period is successfully completed, a performancerelated bonus may be awarded, based on appraisal ratings at the end of the qualifying appraisal year.Any move to them from another employer will mean you can no longer access childcare vouchers. This includes moves between government departments. You may however be eligible for other government schemes, including Tax-Free Childcare.Nationality requirements
