Job Description

We are looking for a HR Business Partner in our newly formed local business unit - Manchester, Midlands & South Yorkshire.FirstBus is changing and as part of this change, weve recently launched our new purpose your journey is oureverything, to help harness and celebrate the true impact of the services ourpeople deliver. As HR Business Partner in our Local Business Unit, youll play a key role in embedding our purpose into the everyday.We have an ambitiouspeople strategy as part of our wider cultural change and as the HR Business Partner, you will shareaccountability for the implementation and evaluation of company-widepeopleinitiatives, with a focus on empowering leadership to own thepeople agenda.As an integral member of the local business unit, youll be able to demonstrate a high support/high challenge approach. Youll also work collaboratively with central HR colleagues to embed our new EVP, always acting with integrity.What are we looking for

  • Youll be a great communicator, able to build credibility and influence at a senior level. Youll be skilled in adapting your style and being flexible in your approach
  • We operate in a unionised environment so experience of this will really set you up for success in this role
  • Youll be someone who likes using data to drive decision making.
  • Ability to deliver effective and strategic training programs that support the overall business and peopleobjectives
  • Youll be a passionate change agent able to inspire others to adapt to new ways of working
