Job Description

HR AssistantHybrid/Remote ( 1 day per week in Manchester)£21,500The Talent Crowd are pleased to be working with an award-winning National Law Firm to recruit a HR Assistant to support their fast-paced growing ER TeamYou will be responsible for organising and coordinate the activities of the ER team and will operate as first point of contact for ER queries.   • Inform and advise as required regarding ER policy/process
  • Manage / organise meetings as required for the ER team, including coordination and timely distribution of agenda/supporting documentation;
  • Provide accurate and timely production/distribution of minutes where required by the ER team
  • Prepare high standard documents and presentation materials as required by the ER team
  • Undertake accurate data collection, collation and analysis, producing management information and contributing to ER reports and presentations
  • Proactive diary management support to the ER team, taking into account the sensitivities involved in high level ER matters
  • To act as a focal point of contact, judging the priority of matters, dealing with the many demands of the ER team
  • Support the delivery of ER/policy information/training to stakeholders;
  • Manage low risk casework
  • Management of employee records using the HR
  • Liaise with internal teams
Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a HR team is desirable
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of the operation and structure of the firm
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of ER/HR policies, UK employment legislation
  • Ability to gather, collate and analyse data
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and to communicate effectively with a range of people at all levels
  • Excellent practical knowledge and skills in using a range of packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Internet search
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills; ability to coordinate activities and conflicting demands across a busy team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
