Housing OfficerTemporary - 5 weeksManchesterThe clientMorgan Hunt are working with a housing association in Manchester who are looking to recruit a temporary housing office to join them for a period of 5 weeks. This role is to start mid - November.As a Housing Officer, the overall aim is to provide advice, assistance, support and guidance to the associations tenants to help them maintain their tenancy in an appropriate manner, whilst maximising the amount of income collected by the association. You willact on behalf of the association to enforce the terms and obligation placed on tenants within their tenancy agreement.The role - Housing OfficerAs this is a short-term contract, the Housing Officer will be required to focus on income collection and carrying out annual visits in this time with the main duties including.* Implementation of day-to-day action in respect of management of the associations rental income. * Advising on the benefit entitlement and assistance with benefit claims.* Operation of arrears control in accordance with the associations policies and procedures.* Monitoring of payment received and highlight variation from amounts in agreement with tenant.
