Job Description

Health and Safety Manager£30,000 - £45,000 + BenefitsManchester, North West (Remote Based)A new opportunity has arisen within one of Europes leading Environmental and Engineering Consultancies, who are globally recognised and employ over 3000 staff across the UK and afar. This well-established company have seen tremendous year-on-year growthand due to continued success, are looking to recruit an ambitious Health & Safety Manager to join their team.As a Health & Safety Manager, you will be working closely with the organisations clients, to develop and implement effective polices and procedures in order to maintain health and safety management across various large industrial premises. You will conductrisk assessments, site inspections, audits, deliver training on best practise, lead incident/accident investigations and implement control measures to prevent near misses and occurrences.The successful Health & Safety Manager will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a health and safety role
  • NEBOSH General & ideally NEBOSH Fire certifications
  • ISO Internal Auditor qualification
  • Member of IOSH - Associate/Tech/Grad/Chartered
  • Proven experience in managing health and safety across large premises which include warehouses, factories, laboratories and offices
  • Experience in delivering health and safety training
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 management systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong client facing and presenting skills
  • Experience with Fire & COSHH risk assessments
  • Full UK driving license with a flexible approach to travel (will be covering Northern territory)
