The Company: Our client is one of the UK’s fastest growing FinTech companies. Since 2015 the firm has rapidly amassed over 500 corporate clients across the UK, growing through tech-invest share issues and private equity funding. From its roots as a specialist software company the firm has pioneered a ground-breaking new concept in B2B business processes which is now attracting further investment and commercial partnerships from overseas. The Role: The company is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial and evangelical digital marketer to get a hold of this proposition and further unlock its potential. The next stage of growth will be built around digital marketing, online lead-generation, affiliate activities and building the profile of a brand which can become the next rising star of UK and international financial services. The position, which reports to board level, will occupy a key strategic position in the management team - reflected by the substantial career opportunity on offer, including share dividends as the company continues to grow. The initial remit will involve managing departmental support staff, prioritising a review/relaunch of the website, re-defining the proposition and key sales messages, overhauling the digital lead generation pipeline, developing the brand and generating sales collateral. The Ideal Candidate will be an agile, dynamic and commercially focussed marketer with an appetite for owning a proposition and helping it grow into something spectacular. Brochures and brollies are not the crux of this job but blue-chip lead generation and building a powerful brand most certainly are.To be considered you are likely to be the holder of a strong marketing/digital/management degree - or perhaps an MBA - and can demonstrate 3 years’ (minimum) post-grad’ proposition-based achievement with a dynamic B2B technology SME, FinTech company or e-commerce platform. But high achievers with a proven digital marketing pedigree in other sectors will also be considered on merit, as will ambitious AMs of ADs from digital marketing agencies. This is likely to be the most exciting marketing career stepping-stone opportunity to come on to the northwest job scene in 2020. It is not often a company emerges with the potential to make such a seismic impact on global business practices. The role is based in Manchester but will involve some travel (especially to London), occasional client meetings, preparation of pitches and attendance at IT and financial trade shows etc. The position carries a competitive remuneration package, including excellent benefits and a performance-based share release scheme. To Apply respond below and please add a brief supporting cover note. Or for further details call the company’s appointed recruitment partner PRMS. All interest will of course be treated in strict confidence. The closing date for applications is Friday 20/3/20.
