Robert Walters are excited to be exclusively representing a high growth, global business as they look to appoint a dynamic, technically strong Head of Group Reporting to join their high calibre finance team. This organisation is a success story when it comesto ambition and high growth, with revenues doubling in the past 3 years to in excess of £1 billion and regular acquisitions being made.Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director you will take ownership of the consolidation and production of monthly / quarterly group reporting packs in accordance with internal & group deadlines. Youll ensure accurate reporting of key financial informationensuring reconciliations, systems and processes are operating effectively, building strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the group along with the investors.The Role:* Produce monthly and quarterly group consolidations, including clear and insightful group reporting pack collation and submission.* Consolidation and presentation of budgets and forecasts. * Support the quarterly and annual group audit process, including relationship building with external stakeholders. * Preparation of an executive pack for the investors. * Be the main point of contact for all group reporting queries.* Understand, analyse, document and test the business processes, systems and controls across the group. * Provide ongoing accounting support to divisional finance teams to ensure any accounting implications are factored into commercial decision appraisals.* Become a key contact in the audit process, driving efficiencies and active communication. * Support the senior leadership team to ensure a consistent approach to financial policy, procedure, compliance and controls across the group.* Ensure group accounting policies are documented and regularly reviewed.* Maintaining up to date governance documentation. * Support in all aspects of the month end close. * Review of complex journals and balance sheet reconciliations.You as the Successful Individual: * Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with several years PQE.* Preferably a background within audit, with excellent technical accounting capabilities.* Strong IFRS knowledge. * Strong accuracy and attention to detail.* An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, at all levels. * Proactive approach to work and the ability to balance workloads in a fast-growing business. * A successful track record of meeting deadlines and working under pressure.You will join a successful, growing, international business, based in impressive Manchester offices with hybrid & flexible working.
