Job Description

Head of Credit ControlManchester - Hybrid£45,000 - £50,000Cobalt is partnering with a leading provider in the BTR sector, who are actively growing their portfolio from 1500 properties to 6000 in the next 5 years.The company are now looking for a Head of Credit Control to join the business to lead the Credit Control department and affect positive change within the business.Key responsibilities

  • Maximise rent collection and minimise bad debt thereby reducing risk to the business
  • Maintain and develop key procedures and policies relating to the handling of tenant debts
  • Manage monthly Credit Control meetings and keeping the Executive team up-to-date
  • Managing a team of 4 Credit Controllers to deliver against KPIs
  • Ensuring the Credit Control team proactively chase outstanding payments, report on outstanding rent payments and resolve tenant queries with the assistance of letting and maintenance departments
About you
  • Previous experience of management within Credit Control
  • Ability to demonstrate successful minimisation of company debt
  • Previous experience in Real Estate in highly desirable
  • High level of communication with internal and external stakeholders
