Looking for a talented and creative head chefsHere we have a great opportunity for an individuals who are willing to take charge and join a team in running a restaurant in Manchester, United KingdomLooking to create a new fine dining menu, where attention to detail and presentation of food is a 10/10. We want to take the best selling items of the current menu and give them a new look, as well as introducing a whole rage of new dishesIdeal for individuals who pay a lot of attention to details and have abundance of skill on presenting dishes well. We want to be presenting fine dinning foods which are catered for a Halal cliental base.The head chef/sous chefs will be in charge of the day to day running of the kitchen, including staff and all administrative duties e.g. meeting health and safety standards and specification sheets of new recipes for the restaurant.We will be increasing the opening times of the restaurant, so we can introduce a brunch menu and enhance the current evening menu with dessertsIndividual must be willing to relocate to the Manchester areaMain duties will include· Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations.· Liaising with the relevant companies for food orders.· Creating new dishes and menus.· Interviewing and hiring new staff.· Monitoring and controlling stock levels.· Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.· Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.· Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget.Must have experience:· Managing staff and a kitchen· Employment of new kitchen staff· Steak and grill experience· Desserts· Plating and designing dishes· Creation of new menu· Can make fusion foods and can create a unique breakfast menu· Can provide staff training and get staff members up to speed
