Grounds PersonManchester£22,00025,000 (dep on exp)Full-time, PermanentWe are recruiting for a self-motivated, professional Grounds Person for a leading secondary school based in Manchester.You will be responsible for the preparation, upkeep and maintenance of school grounds and sports pitches always ensuring the highest standards. You will have experience in grounds maintenance, preparation of sports pitches, use of horticultural machinery,driving a tractor and good working knowledge of Health and Safety.The grounds cover an extensive area and consist of several football and rugby pitches, cricket squares, training areas and tennis courts including grass, artificial and sports tarmac. You will have a Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Sports Turf or similar qualification.PA1, PA2,and PA6 Spraying Qualification. Tractor Driving Qualification and basic Health and Safety Qualification.Normal working week is 40 hours, typically from 8.00am until 5.00 pm and you will be expected to work overtime on Saturdays (around 30 per year) so flexibility is vital.If this sounds like the perfect role for you then please submit your CV.This vacancy is being handled by Aspire Recruitment.
