The candidate must be comfortable taking designs from an initial concept to a final visual product andthrive in time-sensitive situations, collaborating with the Creative Director and Senior Leadership team.The desired candidate is an idea generator who is solution oriented and can work well independently, taking ownership of projects and generating their own ideas.OpportunityThe company are an exiting SaaS business in the heart of Manchester and now with offices opening globally as they continue to grow.Following a series of notable investments, the company is in a hyper growth phase and looking for a motion designer to elevate their motion design videos to the next level.They are looking for the brightest minds who are ready to shape the future of the company and work alongside other designers and the wider Marketing Team.DutiesAs Graphic Designer you will be working daily with Adobe Creative Cloud building our creative assets in Print (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Video (Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier)In this role, your workload will likely be an evolving mixture of the following tasks:video animation for content marketing and software tutorialsdesigning static social media templatesediting raw video footage to create trailersanimating logo stingsdeveloping brand campaigns with the marketing teamdesigning avatar concepts for company Gamification productsdeveloping branded collateral for new business opportunitiesdesigning digital advertsdesigning print based marketing material for trade shows and events (Covid permitting!)contributing creative ideas to the marketing teamOwnership of social media contentand other mix of media-related creative projectsWe are looking for the Jack-of-all-trades Designer who is prepared to get their hands dirty by putting their own stamp on the brand.Requirements:Formal graphic design training (University degree or diploma) and 3+ years of creative design work experienceProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,Premier Pro and After Effects)Knowledge in UX/UI , specifically for Wordpress is desirable but not essentialExcellent knowledge of Social Media best practices and basic channel fundamentalsProven skills and educational training in typography, layout, composition, colour theory and information designAbility to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, developing creative design solutions within tight deadlinesExcellent oral and written communications, listening and decision-making skillsCandidate provides a great attitude, energy drive and enthusiasmOvertime may be required on occasion, based on project demandsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join an already successful business as it continues to grow, and you can be a big part of that journey, where you will have genuine opportunities to develop your own career rapidly.
