You will receive fantastic employee discount on our products, a discounted share purchase scheme and access to our Employee Assistance Programme and much more!As the Front End Developer at N Brown your responsibilities will include:- Developing new user-facing features using React.js, Node and Next.- Profiling and improving front-end performance to create highly performant, secure and scalable solutions.- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.- Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.As a Front End Developer, you will have the following skills and experience:- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles through previous experience working as a Front End /React.js Developer.- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages.- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Next, Babel, Webpack, Redux and Storybook.- Experience of front-end development using Headless services, consumed through RESTful APIs- Experience with user interface design.- Experience of unit testing and mocking using Jest.- Experience of vulnerability testing using Retire.- Experience of automated functional testing using Cypress or similar.- Knowledge of performance benchmarking and usability testing using Lighthouse.- Experience of automated CI/CD pipelines using GitlabCI or similar.- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.- Excellent troubleshooting skills.Working at N Brown you’ll explore everything the world of digital retail has to offer — asking questions, trying new things and chasing new opportunities.
