Are you a teacher of Food Technology looking for a supply role in ManchesterTradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented food technology Teacher to join an Ofsted outstanding secondary academy in Manchester.This is a full-time temporary teaching role from as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.The RoleTeacher of Food TechnologyFive days a week 8.30am to 3.15pmDelivery of food technology, nutrition and health and catering with a focus on innovative practical lessonsExperience of GCSE food is essential as the timetable is predominantly year 11 classesThe academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners and further education catering specialists with experience of teaching Food to students aged 11 to 18.The SchoolConsistently very high performing 11-18 academy in central ManchesterOfsted Outstanding since January 2014"Teachers are authoritative experts in their subjects. They have high expectations; poor behaviour is not tolerated. The quality of teaching in lessons is usually good and often outstanding"Easily accessible on public transport - a short walk from Manchester city centre.To join us and be successful in this Food Technology Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
