Camino Search is pleased to be working with a global business that is looking for a Financial Accountant. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team and contribute to the brands growth and success.Job Summary:As a Financial Accountant you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, compliance with relevant regulations, and the provision of actionable financial insights to guide strategic decision-making. You will work closely withother members of the finance department and collaborate across various departments within the organization.Roles and Responsibilities:Financial Reporting:Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.Budgeting and Forecasting:Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets.Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.Provide insights and analysis on budget variances to support decision-making.Account Reconciliation:Reconcile and analyse general ledger accounts to identify and rectify discrepancies.Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.Financial Analysis:Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.Process Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement within the finance department and implement best practices.Streamline financial reporting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.Business Partnering:Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, to optimize financial processes and cost control.Provide financial expertise and support to various teams across the organization.Qualifications:Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldQualified - ACCA / ACA / CAANZ / ICAEW / CIMA5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting or auditing.Strong knowledge of GAAP / IFRS and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
