Job Description

Paying up to £45,000, this leading international services group are looking for a Financial Accountant, who will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis for their UK operation.   • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Detailed Analysis of Payroll, travel and expenses for multiple sites
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Analyse financial data and trends to identify opportunities
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and performance metrics.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making by senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
THE PERSON
  • Ideally part qualified with experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within a similar environment.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and software and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to precision and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Effective communication with the ability to foster collaboration across departments and cultivate robust relationships.
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement and a readiness to tackle fresh challenges.
