Job Description

You will act as key business partner with Operations, Sales, Procurement, and the rest of the Finance organization ensuring the S&OE/Ppolicies and procedures are followed and that all considerations are incorporated into the financial plans.We offer hybrid working options for this role and can consider different locations in EMEA region on individual basis.How you will do it:

  • Accountable to drive the S&OE/P process from a Finance perspective including actively participating in the different weekly process meetings (i.e., Demand / Supply / Executive reviews)
  • Partner with the Sales and Operations leaders in validating the completeness, granularity, and reasonability of the demand plan at the unit and dollar level
  • Analyze and align with Ops the production constraints and their impact to the material plan, incorporate capacity constraints into material buy plan
  • Participate in reconciliation of the Demand signal vs. the Production plan and Purchase plan validating the completeness, granularity, and reasonability
  • Incorporate into the financial scenarios (i.e., PLAN / Outlook etc.) the outcome of the regular S&OE/P process and establish targets that are consistent with the expected business outcome
  • Approve purchase orders for material ordered not consistent with the approved purchase plan
  • Manage discussions and evaluations to find opportunities to reduce the finish goods and drive action plans
  • Partner with the inventory planning team to drive actions to deliver the monthly DIOH targets
  • Prepare monthly reports / metrics related to the Finance S&OE process at the plant level
  • Active involvement in preventing inventory obsolesce and in driving actions with the rest of the functional teams
  • Develop decision tree logics for the inventory obsolesce provisions (i.e., Can we sell to an aftermarket supplier /marketing run a promotion / material be re-worked / write off)
  • Develop effective control procedures to improve the Finance S&OE/P process
  • Proactively identifies end to end S&OE/P process opportunities and corrective actions and works with the relevant team in their implementation
What we look for
  • BS Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
  • 7+ years progressive finance and accounting experience ideally in Finance Controlling, FP&A function
  • Experience working with Operations (Manufacturing, Logistics & Distribution)
  • Outstanding ability to communicate, motivate, partner with business operation leaders, and work cross functionally and drive results in a highly matrixed global organization
  • Software skills: MS Office, HFM and/or OneStream highly preferred
  • Ability to travel to locations as business conditions dictate if needed
Preferred:
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with Sales and Operations Execution and Planning processes
  • MBA / CPA degree
  • SAP, Oracle, JDE knowledge
